Jon W. Ohnezeit DDS, P.C.
Dr. Jon Ohnezeit attended Gannon University on an ROTC scholarship and graduated with a degree in biology. Before attending dental school, he spent four years in the United States Army as an armor officer and scout platoon leader. Dr. Jon is a veteran of the 10th Mountain Division.
After his service in the military, Dr. Jon completed his dental education at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He continued his education and training with a general practice residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center/V.A. Hospital. Before joining Beautiful Smiles, Dr. Jon was in private practice for three years.
Dr. Jon joined the Beautiful Smiles team in 2010. Shortly after, he became a partner of Dr. Nangle in ownership of the practice. He prides himself on being well-rounded in the field of general dentistry in order to provide the best available care for his patients. His skill sets complement the high standards Dr. Nangle and the team of Beautiful Smiles has been providing Auburn for many years.
Along with being able to provide a wide range of treatment and procedures, Dr. Jon sets himself apart in the field of general dentistry by providing treatment not usually found in most general dentist offices. He is a trained and experienced provider of adult orthodontics, surgical extractions including wisdom teeth removal, molar root canal treatment, and implant placement and restoration. Dr. Jon has extensive experience and training with dental implants and their application including guided implant placement/restoration, full-arch implant placement/restoration, and immediate loading of dental implants.
Dr. Jon is a member of several professional organizations (ADA, Spear Education, VFW) and prides himself on constant learning and achievement. He averages over 40 hours of continuing education yearly, nearly doubling the recommended requirements for state licensure. Dr. Jon is active in the community by providing dental education to local schools and volunteering services to underserved communities with outreach clinics.
